Veit Peter Irtenkauf

Veit is a photo enthusiast who lives in Marin County,
north of San Francisco. He specializes in landscape,
nature photography, wildlife and shooting panoramas.

he is an executive in the high-tech industry.

The natural environment is integral to HitTheHill and a big part of what distinguishes it from any other fitness program. We in the San Francisco Bay Area are truly blessed by a wealth of hills and forest, beach and headland, and so many of us go for so long just driving by this treasure on our way to and from work.

Veit Irtenkauf has taken some phenomenal photographs of the very locales where HitTheHill trains, and it's no coincidence. The same passion that brings Veit into this rich environment with his camera is also what brings me into these hills and woodlands to train my recruits. Veit shares his passion by capturing the images and bringing them for people to see, while I bring people physically into that world to become a part of it.
